About Delegare Model UN
What We’re All About
Delegare Model UN started out in 2020 with an aim to create an international platform to youth to share their perspective and voice out opinions for the near and better future in the harsh conditions of the pandemic.
Today, it is a thriving Model United Nations. Our dedicated team consists of 30+ members from all around the world that come together to commence our yearly conferences. Passion and enthusiasm go hand-in-hand with everything we do.
We are always open to more applications for our team as we strongly believe that every step we take will open a new door of opportunity. Come join us at our next event — we’d love to share all that Delegare Model UN has to offer.
About Edition 1.0
Delegare Model United Nations started on its journey to becoming a worldwide FREE conference when we inaugrated our first edition on the 22nd and 23rd of December, 2020.

Amongst the hardships of the pandemic, our team of 15 people from all around the world came together and worked for the conference while working out several obstacles of the different time zones and departmental overlapping.
We are extremely proud to say that DMUN 1.0 garnered 194 delegate registrations with almost all 7 of our committees being filled within no time.
The committees and agendas are as mentioned below:
1. UNSC - Discussion on the military influence in the Arctic region.
2. UNGA ECOFIN - Addressing the global oil crisis of 2020.
3. UNHRC - Rights of free and independent press.
4. AIPPM - Discussion on economic and fiscal policies under Prime minister Modi.
5. UNCSW - Tackling issues faced by women and girl child migrants with special emphasis on SDG 3 and 6.
6. US Cabinet - Discussion on the reforms in the immigration policy.
7. International Press
With over 150 registrations in a month we ended with a successful conference.
Our closing ceremony was addressed by Mr. Satyen Chandiramani, a profound drama enthusiast, director and actor in the Dubai theatre circuit, and the final event a fun round of confessions.
We are now back in 2021, with our second edition and aim to make a bigger success.
